GREEN SCENE BERS was established by Martin Delahunty, Dip Con Econ, ICIOB specifically to deal with the requirement for Building Energy Ratings (BERs) for residential properties and to assist clients with a new dwelling project to comply with the new Building regulations requirements and in particular Part L - Energy.

Martin has years of experience in property, construction and the energy sector and is a member of Chartered Institute of Building (ICIOB).

 

Martin is an SEAI registered Building Energy Rating Assessor & Technical Advisor for the BEHS Heat Pump Grant and is a member of BER Assessors Association of Ireland. Martin is also a member of The Georgian Society and has worked on projects involving Heritage and listed buildings.

 

We can travel to any area in Ireland. However, we mainly work in the following Counties:

Kilkenny, Tipperary, Carlow, Waterford, Wexford, Partlaoise, Cork and Kildare.

 

We use the most up to date equipment when assessing your property including digital laser measures, laser gauges (to measure the gap between your double glazed window panes) and electrical sensors to detect low emissivity coatings on your window panes (this improves your BER). Not all assessors go to the expense of purchasing this equipment and they rely on visual measurements only, this attention to detail can improve your BER.
